Weddings at

Our policy is that only the minister does the weddings at our church. However it is possible for our ministers to conduct the wedding and for a different church minister to be the speaker at the service and participate in some other parts of the wedding.

Cost

The cost for weddings is $650. This includes use of the church, minister’s preparation time with the couple, provision of an organist for the wedding service. The Deposit is $100. After the deposit is paid, the remaining $550 should be finalised at least a week before the wedding.

Preparation for the service and for marriage

The minister will spend a number of sessions with you preparing for the wedding and talking about the significance of getting married in a church. You will thus need to attend a number of interviews with the minister who will be conducting the service, and then the wedding rehearsal, which is usually held a day or two before your wedding.

Attendance at church

Getting married in a church involves making promises to God in a Christian service. So we would like you to get to know what our church is like. We therefore encourage couples to agree to attend church at least three times before the Wedding.
